This website is dedicated to the memory of my friend and mentor Pastor David Wayne Lawrence, who developed the Piano By Ear method in the 1970's. I met Pastor David and the Lawrence family in Atlanta in 1989 and his method transformed the way I played the piano and opened up a whole new world of creativity to me. Since his passing in 2014, the Lawrence family has graciously given me permission to continue his legacy of training others using his unique method.
